Grants Awarded

Support is provided for research, education, media, civic engagement and public policy work specifically benefiting African-American communities. Unfortunately, the Foundation cannot support operating costs, direct social services, or ongoing programs. The Foundation is a partner in the Racial Justice Collaborative (www.racialjusticecollaborative.org) supporting public interest lawyers and community organizations employing legal tools to achieve equity; and donor partner of the national Fulfilling the Dream Fund. The Falk Foundation also created the Pennsylvania Fulfilling the Dream Fund to strengthen race- and gender-inclusive policies and practices.

Proposals submitted from outside the Southwestern Pennsylvania region must be national in scope and impact addressing public policy issues in African-American communities.
